Vanishing Lights or Shadows

Problem: I had lights and shadows just a moment ago, but they disappeared! What's going on?

Don’t panic; this probably happened while you were doing something on set. In that case, it’s a temporary situation designed to minimize overall rendering times. The effects will return soon enough. If you want to immediately force them to reappear go to the CAMERAS Menu and choose FORCE REDRAW OF MAIN VIEW.
