Nahimic OSD causing crashes and freezing in FrameForge

It has come to our attention that several programs by Nahimic Software can a conflict with FrameForge which results in FrameForge freezing, the program not starting or outright crashes/access violations.

Nahimic software comes pre-installed on some computers, so you may not even realize that you have it or that it is running.

We have been in contact with Nahimic and they say they are working on it, but for the moment, the only solution is to disable or uninstall the software.

You should be able to uninstall it via the standard Add/Remove Programs section of the Windows Control Panel and you should remove the programs that start with the name Nahimic.  We HIGHLY recommend that you create a restore point before doing that. We have yet to hear of any problems caused by removing it and it solves those issues with FrameForge and a number of other programs.

If you want to disable Nahimic rather than uninstall it, please check their website for information on how to do that as it varies from version to version.
