How can I get rid of the floor and/or ceiling on the panorama object?

Problem:  I have a panorama that I've brought onto the set and I want to get rid of its floor or ceiling.

Solution: In the blueprint view, double-click on the edge of the panorama to bring it into the Green Room. Click on the Poses & Parts tab and you should see part choices. Select floor* or ceiling* as desired and change it from present to absent.
