How can I "lock" a set or objects so they don't get moved accidentally?

Question: Once I finish creating a set  I would like to know how to lock all the items in place, to prevent them from being moved.  Would it be just highlighting everything and gluing it all together?

Discussion:  No, that would create one large object which would cause problems with collisions and make it much harder to select other objects on the set.

Solution:  Select all the objects that you want to be locked and choose the Objects Menu, then Lock Selected Objects. This will prevent these objects from being selected by simple clicking on them.  You can still select them by either using a Rubber Band Selection and completely enclosing them within the Selection Rectangle or by using the Select By Name function.
