How can I control what part of the blueprint appears in printouts?

Whenever you snap a frame, FrameForge stores an image of the blueprint view associated with that set, and you can optionally include these blueprints in the printed storyboard images. However, if you’re shooting scenes in only a limited area of the set, you might not want to print the entire blueprint with all that empty space. In that case, you have the option to “zoom in” so that FrameForge will print only a specified portion of the blueprint along with the associated frame(s).  To do this:

  1. Set up the blueprint view to show just the area you want.
  2. Select the menu command Sets > Blueprint Printing Layout > Lock to Current View .
  3. After confirming that you do want to lock the blueprint layout, FrameForge will ask you whether it should update shots you have already snapped on this set to use the new locked layout.  Whether or not you choose to update existing shots, any new shots you snap on this set will use the new blueprint printing layout.

If you wish to revert to the default behavior, you can use the menu command Sets > Blueprint Printing Layout > Unlock.
